Living with Chronic Pain & How Others Cope

Published: 01/06/2021

An observational documentary follows three people who face the reality of dealing with varying chronic pain conditions, and the symptoms that can greatly affect quality of life.

Andie, a patient at Sapphire Medical Clinics, lives with her three adult children and husband Colin, and having suffered with a variety of painful episodes for years, she was finally diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Over the years Andie’s condition has robbed her of a bright future, and she has gone from being an out-going world traveller to now relying on family members to do things for her. With the growing global research into the possibilities of cannabis related medicines growing, Andie begins a new journey to discover if this can help with her daily chronic pain.

Medical experts include Sapphires Dr Mark Weatherall, Dr Michael Platt and Dr Mikael Sodergren, as the documentary starts to understand the impact of one of the UK’s most pressing medical concerns.
