Dronabinol is a synthetic tetrahydrocannabinol (commonly known as THC) that is a licensed medication. It is also known under the trade name Marinol. It is licensed to treat resistant chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and is one of the few medical cannabis preparations that may be prescribed on the NHS when used for this condition.
